TSA Annual Convention and Design Products & Ideas Expo

Many, many thanks to all who played a role in making the 2009 TSA Convention a POWERful success! The city of Houston and AIA Houston added fun, excitement and variety to the three days of activity, October 22-24.

The Convention Committee, chaired by Michael Morton, AIA; the Continuing Education Committee, chaired by Mike Arbour, AIA; the Convention Futures Committee chaired by Chris Hudson, AIA; the generous sponsors; every speaker and panelist; the fabulous line-up of exhibitors; the leaders and docents who kept tour groups moving and engaged; the supporting cast members of the Hyatt Regency Houston and the George R. Brown Convention Center; and of course, every person who registered and attended all contributed to the energetic vibe and the successful outcome of so much work and coordination. Both exhibitors and sponsors are viewable (click here); please remember them first when embarking on new projects or looking for specific products and services.

The convention was recapped with photos in the December issue of CheckSet (click here to view). Overall registration was 2,973; registration by TSA members was 1,074.

If you didn’t attend the gathering, take a look below at the 2009 Registration Guide to see what you missed. Join TSA later thisyear when we convene in San Antonio, October 14-16, 2010, with the theme of PURPOSE.
